Once you're logged into DoAutomate, click on Integrations in the navigation menu.

This is the page where you can manage your Google Ads integration.

πŸ”Ή Step 1 - Add Our Service Account to Your MCC Account

The first step is to grant access to our service account, which allows DoAutomate to securely run audits and manage your accounts.

What Is a Service Account?

A Google service account is a special type of account used by servers or backend systems to authenticate and access Google APIs programmatically - without needing user interaction. Unlike OAuth, which requires manual login and consent, a service account uses a private key to securely access resources, making it ideal for automated tasks like running audits or managing accounts at scale. It's the recommended method for server-to-server integrations because it's more stable, secure, and doesn't expire like user tokens.

How to Add Our Service Account

  1. Go to Admin > Access and security > Users, then click the β€œ+” (Add) button

  2. In the Email field, enter:

  3. In the Access Expires field, select Never

  4. Under Select account access level section, choose Standard

  5. Click on the Add account button

πŸ”Ή Step 2 - Enter Your MCC ID

While logged into your Google Ads Manager Account, you'll see your MCC ID in the top right corner, next to your profile picture (e.g. 123-456-7890).

  1. Copy your MCC ID and remove the dashes (e.g. 1234567890)

  2. Paste it into the Google Ads MCC ID field in DoAutomate

  3. Click the Test Connection button

πŸ”Ή Step 3 - Import Your Client Accounts

Once the connection to your MCC is verified, DoAutomate can access your linked client accounts.

  1. Click the Import Client Accounts button

  2. Your client list will appear

  3. You can start auditing right away by heading to the Dashboard and clicking on Create New Audit
